Réserve Ancestrale concludes beautifully the ageing cycle of Calvados Groult. Aged and blended in the casks that belonged to Pierre Groult (1830-1918), this exceptional blend of the oldest eaux-de-vie of the domain will surprise you with its softness, subtlety, spices and notes of "tarte tatin".
The annual production is intentionally limited to maintain the root of very old Calvados in this blend.
Le Figaro Magazine (December 2014) :
"What's in this bottle is incomparable: the oldest spirits of the property blended with dazzling mastery. On the nose and palate, an almost perfect balance between power and elegance, pure charm and fascinating complexity."
