Calvados Whisky cask finish


We are pleased to introduce you our experiments : unusual Calvados, finished (aged several months) in casks used before for other alcohols. The first bottles have been released at the beginning of year 2017.

This cuvee is a 9 year old Calvados Pays d'Auge, 46% vol., with more than one year of Whisky (from Britain, France) cask finish.

A short tasting note from M. Hervé Lalau (Wine & spirits journalist) :

"It is spicy, iodized but creamy, almost buttery in the mouth."





Calvados Jurançon cask finish


We are pleased to introduce you our experiments : unusual Calvados, finished (aged several months) in casks used before for other alcohols. The first bottles have been released at the beginning of year 2017.

This cuvee is a 9 year old Calvados Pays d'Auge, 46% vol., with more than one year of Jurançon (sweet white wine) cask finish.

"Blind tasting, I did not felt the acidity of Mansengs but a few notes of pineapple and green banana. The mouth is well melted, smooth, aerial and subtle at the same time."





Calvados Sherry cask finish

This cuvee is a 11 year old Calvados Pays d'Auge, 46% vol., with more than one year of Sherry cask finish.

"Once the wood notes have faded we find fine notes of honey and citrus."
